Although, I'm not really caught up in whether Egypt was white or black, it's such a silly debate in the end. Egypt lasted for a LONG time, thousands of years. Throughout that period it hosted many different people.

To me it would be like if 5,000 years from now someone is debating whether America was white or black. The answer is, it was both and all. As great civilizations usually do they say "You are either a ____ or not." You're either American or not, you are Roman or not, you are Egyptian or not. Since they conquered so much territory it was basically inevitable.
