What creativity in what FA market?

Did Adelman refuse to send an email to rocketsfanslovegortat@gmail.com and pissed on Chris Bosh's iPad or something?

I can't imagine someone as cerebral as Morey hiring Mike Brown.

What a disaster that would be.

So he should have given Ariza a bigger role and played Miller more?

If he isn't coaching us, I would love to see what Rick could do with that Heat roster.

Agreed. It would be better than Larry though.

Going by the game where Les guest commentated. I'd guess Les thinks the team should be better than they are without trades.

Whoah! I can't believe it. The Rockets have finally agreed to tank/go young/rebuild.

    Possible starting lineup in 2012
    Lowry
    T-Will
    Budinger
    Patterson
    Thabeet

We might get a great lottery pick in 2012 and further develop our players into potential stars. I am not sure how Scola, Martin and Hayes will like coming off the bench for the younger guys.

^^^ *vomits* well if the Rockets are pushing out that lineup, at least the season is shortened and we won't have to suffer a full 82 games of them.

I guess I can see where he was coming from, if not for the early season struggles then we should be in the playoffs as the 8th or 7th seed. Same thing can be said if we didn't choke away a few games in the 2nd half but still I don't think much of it was on Rick.

Anyways the rebuilding/tanking period couldn't have come at a better time. The 2012 draft is shaping up to be one of the deepest in recent memory.

We're not rebuilding. We're retooling on the fly. We're going right back to fighting for the playoffs next season after we retool the roster a bit.

Perhaps you are on to something. My takeaway after that broadcast segment was this. Les thinks Morey has assembled enought talent. So any issues with winning are coaching related.

I had the DVR on at that time and played it back several times. Les's statements were really transparent so you had to listen very carefully.

If RA leaves to coach a winning team, we better hope we never meet that team in the playoffs.

See Mavericks vs Warriors 2007 playoffs.

Does that mean that Les wanted us to tank?
