Seriously. This free agency was a big fail and we couldn't even get a meeting with the guys we most coveted, but don't worry, next year's free agency is much better. and even though we don't have the assets to make deals, somehow we are going to offer Presti an offer he can't refuse for Westbrook; sorry Boston or any other team with young talent and multiple picks, but Ariza and Bev are just too tempting. I'm not trying to be a hater but I really can't stand the homers. you can't fix a problem if you don't acknowledge there's a problem
We should but we can't. We can try of course. He'll probably go to the Lakers. He's being recruited by Kobe now.
Yes, lets just give up ever building a contending team! That's the spirit! Les, just sell the team to Kansas City.
Amazing that over $4M Presti could have cost the Thunder 4 all stars and who knows how many championships. Presti has always been smarter lately not liking to lose something for nothing, Westbrook's trade value is at its highest now. If he will not commit, I think Presti will trade him. Presti is desperate.
Almost every important figure has had to get people to join them and looked out for their own success. Its hard to find someone that has done it all by themselves. Lots of people thought extra supertalent would help them to a championship but actually turned out to be a hinderance.
I don't know where Westbrick will end up but there isn't just LAL and Boston that will try to get him. There are two teams with delusional owners and plenty of assets. Denver and the Suns. Kroenke and Sarver. The both recently have tried to get involved even if they are small market teams. And they are both too impatient and tired of losing. Especially Sarver.
btw you all say that he will go to the Lakers anyway. Really? Like Love? Like Derozan? Like Whiteside? All of those were "done deals" and in the end the Lakers couldn't even get a meeting with them. Which superstar in a time that a Monstarz team has been created will go and play with 30+ y.o overpaid Mozgov and Deng ? He will have not to care at all about winning, and someone as competitive as he is there's no way he will just go there like that.
Yeah, that's the problem with the Lakers, as today they're just not good enough to attract good players... I think Presti would prefer to trade him there cause he can take back players and not picks like from Boston, but Wes has power to pick up his next team since he's an expiring, and i see him way more interested in play for the Celtics right now.
