    It's not a sexy list, but it's unlikely that we'll have a game-changer get bought out and fall into our laps.

    Right now I have our team as:

    Starters:

    CP3
    Harden
    _______
    PJ Tucker
    Clint

    Bench:

    (Guard) EGo
    (Forward) Melo
    (Center) Maybe Brandan Wright for vet min or maybe Trevor Booker for part of MLE?
    (Wing) Green
    (Nothing) MCW
    (Guard) Melton

    Of the guys I listed, and with the team I have shown above, obviously Carroll would be the best fit. But I'm really hoping we have a deal for a SF lined up right now that we're just taking our time with.

    I'm going to write a post for the future today:

    I'm sad to see things didn't work out for Ariza in Phoenix. I am glad the rockets are bringing him back, and on such a cheap deal.

    He is looking an NBA Contract. If he doesn't get one, he might sign with Barcelona. They are interested in him. Another team named Baskonia in Spain may be the front-runner to get him.

    One move I would like to see made asap is dumping Nanu Onuaku, then sign Jahlil Okafor to a minimum deal. Low risk...HIGH reward. He's still a free agent. New math.

    Agree, not a lot of sexy options now. Crazy things happen as season progresses so fingers crossed.

    Roster is written in chalk at this time but I think Melo is the starter, with Ryno backing him up (not for long I hope). And if Melo does not start for the obvious reasons, then EGo is the starter. Not ideal but his D is not a liability and he is a legit 3rd option on team.

    Plus you forgot Nene, he may as well be retired with his reliability but he's more of a sure thing than Brandan Wright.

    Forgot he was a FA. Wasn't he having issues running fast pace with the Nets? Thought I recall reading that.

    Then again he hadn't played ball in awhile so.

    Was out of shape on the Nets because Philly wouldn't let him on the court due to some behind-the-scene issues. The Nets were trying to slowly work him back in.

    He's worth a shot for Clint's backup or stealing some of Ryan's minutes.

    This is true. He is Morey's worst 2nd round pick. Even Dorsey was better than him. No one wants him. Morey tried to trade him at the February deadline in the outgoing season. No one wanted him.

    Chinanu Onuaku, the 21 year old who averages a double double in the G-League and just had a promising summer league, is a bust? News to me. I'd rather Nanu take a crack at splitting back up duties with Nene to start the season. There will always be a Brandan Wright type available.

    Zhou and Hartenstein have more upside. Okafor has wayyy more upside. #3 pick overall.
