I don't know how credible these guys are but I thought it was interesting to see the Pacers dealing Granger the Suns for Scola. If someone else made the same thread just lock this one

Suns close to dealing Luis Scola to Pacers

The Indiana Pacers are nearing completion of a deal to acquire Phoenix Suns forward Luis Scola, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

The Pacers and Suns were finalizing the players and possible picks involved in the deal on Friday night, and front-office sources expected an agreement to be finalized overnight.

Indiana has been pursuing Scola for several weeks, and had become available to teams because of the Suns' movement toward a rebuild under new general manager Ryan McDonough.

Scola, 33, could be a huge asset to the Pacers as they try to unseat the two-time defending champion Miami Heat and compete with the elite of the Eastern Conference. Scola is a gifted offensive player, with strong character and leadership. He could go a long way toward strengthening the Pacers' bench behind David West at power forward.

Scola averaged 12.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 82 games for the Suns a season ago.

Scola has two years and $9 million left on his contract.

Seems legit. Scola only follows 59 people on Twitter and Juan Sebastia is one of them

edit: JR beat me to it

PHO wanting granger? doesn't seem like a meaningful improvement. Still won't be able to compete in the West

Yes!!! I love Luis and would be happy to see him contributing to a contender instead of rotting away in NBA hell.

Awesome, would love to see Scola on a team that's actually competing.

This tweet shows some doubt on Granger being involved...

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Original tweet from <a href="https://twitter.com/juansebastia">@juansebastia</a> in Argentina had Scola going to INDY by tomorrow. Follow-up report that Granger in deal strongly shot down</p>&mdash; Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) <a href="https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/statuses/360970626837643265">July 27, 2013</a></blockquote>
