Just when Canaan was about to take Bev's place as starting PG, he gets injured. Now it's Nick's turn. My God, who can run the offense aside from Harden? Maybe it's time to give Troy Daniels a try as well.
It would be nice if Nick could play the point well enough to get by. It would certainly be huge for nick's career. He is a decent sized point but a pretty small 2.
I guess you didn't watch either of the two summer leagues he played in. Johnson has court vision and can be a better all-around PG than Canaan with some experience. He's not in the same league as Canaan as a shooter or even scorer, but he's a better passer and has good court awareness. He's also a much better defender. I'm up for giving Johnson a chance to run the show.
he sure has a solid mid-range game and uses the glass, without having to call it ! interesting. yeah, now or never give him some run Kevin !
Pretty sure all rookies are, epically 2nd round draft picks. He's just trying to establish himself as a player.
McHale isn't letting Nick play because he's a wildcat. Harden is a sundevil. The hatred between the two of them is palpable.
Hope Nick Johnson (if he plays) can be a good contributor like Chandler Parsons. Except without the ego of role and money.
He was a good kid at Arizona and he comes from a basketball family. I have faith his head wont get too large. Arizona, as good as they are this year, still miss him as the kind of guy that can take control and close games.

I like what I'm seeing. He's got to work on some things, but he seems to know how to play, and he's not afraid.
I was upset that he was in the game instead of Daniels on that play. But I changed my mind with .8 to go oO
Nick "bunny" Johnson...what a big time shot. He is getting PT over Daniels because he is playing defense. But his knowledge of the game clearly showed on that play, not settling for a jumper and just taking the ball to the rack for a high % shot. Great play by Nick
Once Nick Johnson becomes a capable shooter, he's going to be a really good player. Quite ridiculous how these decent PGs are always available late in the draft or FA market.
