See Robbie380 above. When it is this hard to make a joke, it is not funny. I was just kidding around about the fact that a poster said no one would take my bet, and the next poster did.
Great block and assist; if he can play defense like this, that would be awesome for us https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3zzFtbH_5AA
more and more I see vids and stats of this guy, the more excited I am about seeing him on the court. Looks and sounds the part. I say floor is Luther Head, ceiling is Lowry with more vert
he's goin to Manila to play in an exhibition game against our national team...he's comin with Blake Griffin, Lillard, DeRozan, Kawhi, Lowry, etc.
Nick Johnson will surprise a lot of people next year. His defense in college was terrific, which is what will put him in the rotation behind Beverley at the start of the season. The problem with Canaan was that he was a below average defender in college, combined with his measurables that don't make him an ideal defender. Johnson isn't your ideal point guard, but on our team he fits in well next to a very ball dominant Harden (that sounds negative, but it isn't really). Can't wait to see 48 minutes of him and Bev.
Anyone catch his interview with Matt Thomas yesterday? Seems like a really bright guy, who gets it. Hopefully his game translates... http://www.sports790.com/media/podcast-kbmeam-podcast-790interviews/mt-and-nick-johnson-24970468/

From what I've seen in the SL, Nick is a solid ball-handler, has very good court vision and more natural PG skills than Canaan. Canaan reminds me a little bit of a poor man's Ben Gordon (he's a SG in a mini-PG body). When you add Nick's defensive skills, I could see him easily being Bev's back-up if we don't add a vet PG. Canaan just doesn't have the play-making skills you want, while Nick has shown some great feel for getting the ball to players in scoring position. With some more experience, he could be our starter by next year. He definitely needs to work on his 3pt shooting. Has clanked quite a few in SL.
