Marion would be a good fit...in Toronto.

as a rockets fan, all i can say is wow.

this trade benefits us and the rest of the west. phoenix really shot themselves in the foot.

shaq is way past his prime, and while he can still be serviceable, he is not worth a great all around player in marion. the biggest thing is the suns have to adapt their play style to a slower, half court pace with shaq, and this is detrimental to nash and amare.

man, some big trades in the western conference. I wonder if Rockets will make a move. Can they win a championship with the roster they have? Rockets need an x factor the seconf half of season. I hope Mike james can be that guy.

Funny how all of this could have been eliminated if Kerr picked up the phone and offered Marion for Gasol. Knowing Marion and knowing how much Memphis sucked, he would have became a free agent after the offseason and the Grizzlies would still have all that cap room.

My source told me that Snyder for trade exception is in the works. A Francis for Derek Anderson trade is also not that far fetched.

Anybody know the good Suns and Heat message boards? I'd like to see the reactions to this.

Indeed, the Gasol trade makes Kerr look even worse in light of this trade.

No kidding. I'd give up McGrady for Marion in no time flat.

considering iavaroni coaches in memphis and plays run and gun, they would have taken it. marion may be their top free agent target as is right now.

Marion is very nice, but he can't create his shot much.He wouldn't be successful without a good PG.

    pfffft...

what does marion give you that tmac can't? other then being healthy, of course.

Marion is the ultimate complimentary player, but not a franchise player to build around. Therein lies the difference. He was also Nash's 2nd favorite target which he won't have anymore.

lol I love the NBA shaq back in the west, if it goes through the suns are legitimate. Shaq may not be the most dominant in the nba anymore but he is not finished, furthermore the heat were a high seed in the playoffs last year when they got eliminated so you mean to tell me somehow shaq lost all the rest of his skills between then and the beginning of this season. Shaq still got something in the tank and we will soon see.

    Lakers get gasol
    Suns get Shaq
    Mavs get Kidd (hopefully)

    what elses is in store?

Rockets get????? Carter? lol (I hope not)

I have a feeling that somehow the suns are about to get mike miller too. I dont know why i think that but I just do.
