    I have
Lol I have no cp3 paranoia I like to look at things objectively. N why wouldn't all those guys other then George take a pay cut. U don't get maby chances to play with ur best friend n still be good. Just think with me if they did take a cut which I would. Being them I've made plenty of money. Why not when a chip with ur best friends. U can't tell me that team wouldn't be better then what the rockets have right now

Just to make sure that they have enough cap space for 3, the LAL will also give up its claim on Randle, who will be a restricted FA after the season

Lakers will be a powerhouse next season, already room for 2 max contracts and could clear a third by getting rid of Randle and attaching a first round pick to Luol Deng’s contract.

Paul George, maybe another marquee name. As a starting unit with Ball that’s as attractive of a decision for LeBron as Houston. Rockets still ahead on rounding out a more complete team .

    Little known fact:

Larry Nance Jr.'s mom's maiden name is Nancy Lawrence.

What am I missing here? I don’t see room for 3 max players. The cap is expected to be $107m. Max contracts are about $35m each.

Lakers have $25 tied up in Ball, Kuzbass, and Ingram + 7 vet minimum roster spots ($1.5 each).

That leaves about $82m in space if they renounce randle and trade Deng for nothing back. I see two max players with about $12m for 1 mid level player. Then they have the full MLE for another mid-level player.

    Ball
    Kuzma
    LBJ
    PG
    Ingram
    $12m Player
    MLE Player
    6 minimum players

Am i missing or forgetting something? I don’t see how they can get 3 max in there.

This article from ESPN actually says they’d need to move deng and randle to get to 2 full max.

    http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...-elite-stars-free-agency-trade-deadline-moves

$50m and moving Deng and randle gets them $70m comfortably.

EDIT: I forgot I don’t think they would have an MLE since they’d operate under the cap to pull these moves off.

Not seeing how that team above minus an MLE player competes against GSW or the Rockets.

You are right that they wouldn't have a full MLE if they used cap space, but they would get a room exception.

No way they can offer 3 full max deals. They could conceivable get themselves to where they could get close to offering 3 $30 million deals, but can't quite get there.

Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance are bonafide scrubs.

CLE got bench players from the Kings, Lakers and the Jazz, and peeps are thinking they have a shot this year. Ninja Pleaseeeee.

Cleveland was trying to get the nets pick. However the doctors should have done a better job of figuring out how bad the injury was.
