If Masai thinks he exorcised the Choke Demon by shipping DeRozan, he's got a surprise comin for him.

If we play them in the finals I want Lin handling the ball in the clutch.

Um... does this mean another thread has to start called [2019] Jeremy Lin as a Toronto Raptor...?

    Lowry is still there.

As for your point on Lin, all I can think about is that Portland series.

I wonder how much playing time he’ll get with Toronto already having Lowry and VanVleet.

I think Raptors will win the East.

Both Raptors PF/C and small forward are better than 76ers. The rest is about the same.

    He’ll take Delon Wright’s minutes.

Suddenly, Trae Young is not the most hated player by the delusional fan population
    Lowry suddenly moves to #1

Lin's low basketball IQ is why he'll never stick anywhere. He just doesn't have the smarts to play significant minutes

Nah...Lowry is a deserving starter. Lin fans will be fine with Lin coming off the bench. Same thing like when he was in Charlotte...Walker was deserving of starting there. It's not like Ronnie Price or even Patrick Beverley starting ahead of him.

D'Antoni, Clifford, Atkinson and Pierce all disagree with you.

    You're right.

They disagreed so much that they were all more than willing to let him go for practically nothing.

Makes sense for all parties. Hawks has too many wings with Taurean Prince and Bazemore getting healthy, and the rookie Kuerter has been on a roll. Lin gets to have a consistent role on a competitive team. The Raptors adds depth at both guard positions. He seemed like a good teammate at Atlanta and got along with everyone. I'm pleasantly surprised he was able to come back and still be pretty effective on the court, but clearly that explosive first step is gone.
