Lowry has been horrible this year and also has been having back problems.
Toronto fans want to get rid of him.

Btw what a match made in heaven!! Lin fans + Toronto fans. LMAO

Good for Toronto/Jeremy. I guess they're not worried about Luxury Tax Savings.

I see Lin fans still hold the title for the most toxic fanbase in the NBA

? D'Antoni had nothing to do with "letting him go" from the Knicks. Clifford "let him go" because Lin had a player option in his contract in Charlotte, so really he had nothing to do with "letting him go". Atkinson...sure, let him go for a 2nd round draft pick because of the uncertainty around his recover from a devastating injury. Pierce...will see how much the Hawks buy him out for, but of course the Hawks had no plan for keeping Lin as they rebuild anyways.

Actually will be painful for the Hawks, because now they don't really have a legit backup PG for Trae. Hawks didn't use Lin very much as a wing.

Good pickup for Toronto. Lin can play, as a backup. He's similar to Austin Rivers, given the right system and role, he can thrive. He can still get to the basketball and has a decent midrange jumper. With the talent in Toronto, I see him avg close to 10 ppg if given the right amount of minutes.

Yes he did. Melo was their current ball dominant scorer and the two didn't mesh well because Lin was the inferior player with that Knicks team.

He started 13 games for the Hornets... nuff said.

He played 1 game for the Nets... see a trend here?

They just traded for a better backup PG in Shelvin Mack, which made Lin expendable.

Aren't you LOF supposed to be on other forums by now? Maybe we can have you guys migrate North now.

Lin was getting some SG minutes with Baze/Prince out, but he's been solely backing up Trae lately, which is why his pt have dipped to around 15-18 mpg. Regardless it won't be painful for the Hawks, they want to develop their young core, and their offense isn't strict with who brings the ball up.

I really do think that Lin Fans understand that purpose of Team sites are for team fans

but they will join anyway because they are insecure about their player

Look at this thread, a non Rockets fan is here to counter every Rockets fans opinion about Lin.

I'm fine with Rockets fans who think Lin is great

Letting non Rockets fans here to specifically spam or try to negate real opinions is wrong

Like in Glassdoor, some employee who left a job writes a bad review, the company is alerted and creates a farm account to write that the job is great.

This is insecurity and 'saving face'

D'Antoni resigned from the Knicks by that time. Mike Woodson was the coach when Melo came back.

Yes, he was signed by the Hornets to be a backup, and he did great in that role. No question if Lin wanted to stay the Hornets would have kept him. What's your point?

He was injured. So yes, his value dropped from the time he signed his contract. What's your point? And fwiw, he played 37 games for the Nets.

Um...they traded Dorsey for Mack and then waived Mack. Not sure where you're getting your info from.

I am a Maloney/Yao/Lin fan, and a basketball fan overall. Have never been a Lin Only Fan.

Actually, that's not true. Even with Baze and Prince out, Atlanta played Lin primarily as the backup PG. He and Trae did not share much court time together. But yes, overall this season he was getting less than 20 minutes per game on average.
