James Harden at 28 is better than Michael Jordan at 28

no one ever said harden was as good defensively as jordan

so how may wins could 10 time dpoy jordan single handedly carry the rockets last year?

 

The only time a team with James on it played Bulls level D was in the 4th quarter of Game 6 vs LAC and he was on the bench. 5 guys tied together on a string was what they called it in the glory days...

Because they have played 3 games without him, 1 being against the Warriors, and they've been trending down defensively basically since Luc went out, and they're not a good defensive team really generally, and because they've had other players in and out of the lineup, and because Tucker's been getting worse and worse, and because who freaking knows?? What we do know is that Harden is not an above average defender. He's never been.

The Spurs were also better with Kawhi out defensively last year, and he's a defensive beast. Sometimes stuff happens with stats that require a more intellectual analysis.

More than they had. And the Rockets would have made the WCF.

 

Look at how Harden dealt with some ball pressure down the stretch of the last few games he played, and realize that in the early 90s all that stuff he was complaining were fouls were perfectly legal.

 

Just a heads up: Harden is being compared to Michael, NOT DeAndre...

 

Next someone's going to be telling me Harden is a better defender than Jordan
