No . The first moves you listed will happen . We will not spend any more money this season But sarcasm aside , I don't think so . If we dump all 3 for nothing then we are under by like 1-2 mil I think . So maybe enough space to get 1 guy
Yeah his missed assignments and gross overplays defensively were hard to ignore. I give some room for errors of aggression, but he never got any better. Shumpert should be a significant upgrade in that regard.
Ennis was terrible, Morey did a good job ensuring that this guy won't play any more important minutes.
Well I won't say anything about it until we see what his roster spot is needed for, but on its face that is trading something for nothing. Hopefully more splash coming today.
Yep. His defensive lapses were many. He improved, but not enough. Is House about to be back in the house???
They will have to duck it one of the next 3 years. This is the easiest season to do it and opens up things for next season.
Philly needed bench depth. Ennis is a solid add for them. BUT, the Rockets only got a SWAP. They didn't get a physical pick. Philly had THREE 2nd round picks and wouldn't even give up ONE of those in this deal. That's brutal!
@BimaThug is there a plausible way for us to use the MLE for buyout target AND get under the luxury tax (by offloading Nene and other smaller salaries)?
Obviously, something else is in the works. We’re too thin at forward to just be giving away rotation players.
Yeah he wasn't great but he is not bad coming off the bench for 15 minutes or so and some depth. We basically dumped him for nothing to save money. Worse, we dumped him to Philly, and he helps them for those 10-15 minutes off the bench. This is just sad.
Ennis was really frustrating to watch. He'd have brief moments where you'd think he was improving, then he'd air-ball a layup or just look completely lost on defense.
