Ennis can he 7'6"..... it doesn't matter if you don't rotate properly, get burned on the perimeter and abused in the interior. His shot has come along, but he just wasn't good defensively.

Another side effect here; we no longer have enough salary to cobble together for any meaningful trades today. So expect the rest of the day to be about dumping some combo of Stauskas, Nene and Baldwin in pure salary dumps.

Yes, Tilman is brewing a warm cup of "luxury tax savings".

I predict rockets trade Nene, Baldwin, Stauskas, for more illusory draft rights, maybe trade away a second to get off of Nene, and use open roster spots to sign House plus two buyout guys...and manage to get out of luxury tax. Is that financially possible?

Swap rights are fairly lame .

We couldn't get the pick outright !?

For all we know in 2021 we could be picking in a better spot than all of those teams

Yes, pretty surprising but as the 2nd poster mentioned Morey will go all out on the buyout market for Ellington, Mathews, Wilson Chandler? to name a few. Maybe this will help let them know that there are minutes to be had? Still could use a backup 4 or at least a guy capable of playing minutes at the 4 like Wilson Chandler.

I guess they tried to get a third star, couldn't and went for plan B.

That would be amazing. Avoid the tax and snag House/Matthews/Wayne/Keef
