Euro Step vs. Taiwanese Dribble (Re: Bill Worrell)

    African is as much a social-construct as "African-American" as it's a geographical distinction.

    This isn't true. In the US, there mainly seems to be race sensitivity towards African-Americans, other races don't seem to have the garner the same respect. If Worrell called what Harden did the "ghetto step" or the "congo dribble" he'd be up **** creek without a paddle.

    I'd embed this, but can't watch it outside the US. Either way, it's that SNL skit where they talk about all the "friendly" race jabs J Lin got when linsanity exploded, and mention the double standards of race treatment.

    I rarely get the Houston feed on NBLP, so haven't noticed Worrell say this. Are you saying this is the same move as the Euro Step. I don't really see Lin doing a Euro Step. Maybe Worrell is giving a name for something unique to Lin??
