I probably had WR a little higher on the priority list than most folks even before the Strong news broke. Shorts was pretty disappointing last season and don't think you can count on him playing more than 2/3 of the season at best. Strong showed some promise the latter half of the season but there has to be a big question mark going into the season. With Shorts' injury history and pending suspension for Strong, the WR situation could get bad quick, that's even if we resign Washington which I doubt. It'd be tough taking a WR in the 1st though and I like a few outside of the 1st though. Sterling Shepard is a guy that I think could step into the slot and contribute quickly.
They do need to upgrade their "best WR core". Never a consideration here though taking one in the first. Hopkins will sign on to a long term deal to happily retire a Texan.
Best WR depth in the history of the NFL! Yes he'll sign a big deal. Less cap room to spend on WRs so hopefully Mumph or Strong can take a step forward
Would love if Fuller was available in the 2nd or 3rd. They could use him to return kicks since Mumphrey hasn't done much in that regard. There's also Shepherd, Boyd, and Braxton Miller as options.
I think Dallas takes Wentz... he looks like Troy. Lynch is "tricky" as described above, is his ceiling Kaepernick? then get Kaepernick. He will drop on the past injury though I bet. WR's in the first suck usually. Jalen will be fine, he knows he will be tested so he just can't toke... too much money not to muster that will.
Depends on the class like any other position. But a lot of good and elite WRs have come out of the 1st the past couple years. Think you could even make an argument for taking one in the 1st considering where some of these guys were taken. 2015 - Cooper 2014 - Watkins, Evans, ODB, Benjamin 2013 - Hopkins 2012 - Floyd 2011 - Green, Jones 2010 - D. Thomas, Bryant With that said, this is a relatively weak WR class and think there maybe some guys available in the 2nd or 3rd that could be value picks.

There is no point to trade down for this management, their talent evaluation overall is just garbage, their picks record isn't much different than throwing darts on the board. According to this logic, they should trade up rather than trade down.
Don't really think Ezekiel Elliott will slide to that late for the Texans. There are many teams need a play maker, not just a RB, play maker is a premium and there will be team willing to pay for it earlier. The Texans really doesn't have much choice here. Depends on how they will chase osweiler (or not), if they will sign a significant FA, then forget about QB, if not, their best option could very well be trade up and get one of the top tier QB.

I mentioned in the other thread that I think Carroo is a better prospect than Fuller and can be had in the 2nd round if these pundits are right (which I also doubt they are).
I'd like to trade up into the teens if Treadwell falls that low. I doubt he falls all the way to 22. I could see WAS, DET, ATL drafting him.
