Not only should they use their picks, they should try and use someone elses pick, as well.

if it means Howard, move everything. We know Morey can build around supreme talent, just need to complete task 1a, get supreme talent.

Feigen's fat ass covers up a lot of area so it's hard to tell if he's sitting on anything.

Im just glad he didnt say a "source" told me.... Kind of common knowledge that the Rockets want to move up, but alot of fans really will be going crazy if Morey trades back, or trades the picks for future picks. This article kind of helps explains the reasoning that does in fact happen.

My opinion is that they will "need" to draft either a PG or a wing player due to the Dragic/Lowry situation and the Martin/Lee situation. However, if a sought after talent falls to 14, and no deals are able to be made to make room on the roster, I wouldnt be the least bit shocked if they still took that player or two. There is no doubt in my mind that there are more than a few guys Morey would love to snag if they are there.

    Careful with that word....

    ;)

And I have been saying the same thing, that the Rockets don't need any more young players, they have enough.

Where is the playing time going to come from?

Without a significant roster purge a couple of mid 1st round picks are not really going to make any difference at all - in all likelyhood.

just based on the law of averages we should use those picks.....after ****ing up on 4 lottery busts from the same draft, morris, etc.....we're due....even a broken clock ends up right twice a day..

I think we should add as many young players with upside as we can. I honestly think we know what we have in patterson. He will probably be a solid backup at best. Parsons to me seems like the SF of the future. I think the only two young question marks are morris and D-Mo. I say bring in a center and a sg and let the youngins fight eachother for playing time. This is rebuilding folks, it's what we've been wanting. I hope they trade lowry for a high pick and end up with 3 first rounders.

I think the Rockets are trying to soften the blow when they trade the 16th pick to the Nets for their pick back. Imagine what coachbadlee will do when they draft Taylor 16th only to reveal that the pick has been traded to the Nets.
