I have a feeling that Clutch might know something about this.. But isn't telling us because he's working with the Rockets.. Heard he has Murray on speed-dial too.

Remember the days when Steve Francis wouldn't use his picks at all.

Woah, what is this, Feigen inserting his own opinion on what the Rockets should do? Does the guy have a death wish?

So you're saying that you want the Rockets to have MORE picks in this year's draft?

I hadn't seen you post this thought before.

    :p

Yes move two potential stars in a deep draft for Howard who'll split after a year and is way too selfish to ever be on a championship team

It happened to me last year sort of with Mirotic. That guy is going to kill in a pick and roll offense or on a team with a great center.

Why arent so many other fans as smart as you? That is the single most brilliant post ever!! Morey no listen though. He only have eyes for old slow role players who are undersized or out of position.

Jonathan Feigen is acting like this is a weak draft class. If it was last years draft class I would agree and try to flip it.

But what to do with those mid round picks? Those are not as enticing as Top 10 or Top 6 picks....... If nobody wants them.... all what is left to do is EXECUTE with the draft....

Hashim, Flynn and Twill were not the best of talents of that draft either.
Intriguing prospects with bust potential in an underwhelming draft class

We managed to unload the '09 deadweight without a lot of angst involved. I suspect that if we end up using those picks on players, we'll find room for them. I'm hoping we move up deep into the top ten using the two picks and a player or two, create some room in the process, get another second rounder for Morey to play with, and await the arrival of Donuts with joy in our hearts.

I wish the Rockets would just trade Scola/Martin/Lowry so we can get on with the rebuilding process. The idea of trading our way to a contender is just foolish. Les & Morey don't know how to build teams from the ground up.

Before people dismiss the picks usefulness, remember when they were in the eddie griffin draft. At that point, I thought jefferson, randolph, and haywaood wood be great options. As it turned out, zach has been a 20-10 guy, jefferson made the asg,and haywood has been solid. I don't but you can't get a really good player where they're drafting at. Go and look and find out how many all star caliber players are drafted outside the top 10
