    • "I don't expect to do much," Morey said. "There's outside the rotation stuff potentially. We're always looking for something to upgrade us. I would guess the odds of us doing nothing are much higher than normal."
    • "The plan is to keep that last roster spot open until Feb. 8 in case of an unbalanced trade or more importantly, if we need the tax room," Morey said. "Then, we also want to have the ability to (pursue) buyout candidates."
    • "We have more than enough, there's no doubt about that," coach Mike D'Antoni said. "Adding Gerald even makes us realize that more. We should be going into the playoffs in a good position. I don't know where we will be because we hit a bump, but we should be in position to challenge anybody. We shouldn't be tired. We shouldn't have injuries, other than bad luck. We have enough guys."

    Lols. If it weren't for DMo failing his physical with Detroit, Morey actually would have a perfect record for executing a trade deadline deal every year.

    He ain't fooling me. He'll make a trade. We still have rights to Sergei Lishouk to flip again. Hell, we could package the rights to Lishouk and Llull for cash to payoff Bobby Brown, so he stops blackmailing us.

    This gives me a good feeling. When speculation is rampant (melo, bosh, etc) we never seem to make a move.

    Morey has a very sneaky style. Harden, I remember, came out of nowhere.

    PG-13 imminent.

    If Anderson keeps playing terrible, expect Morey to shop him like none other. I honestly hope Anderson keeps playing terrible just so we can finally rid ourselves of his deal.

    I won't be disappointed if there are no trades. The only major upgrade I'd like to see is Ryan Anderson and I see no chance in hell of getting rid of him without getting bent over; much less upgrading that spot while sending him out. I would love to see them pick up somebody like Tyson Chandler in the buyouts. Nene hasn't played up to expectations and Tarik Black is a disappointment. We don't need a star to back up Clint, but we do need somebody who can do at least some of what he does. It hurts that we had to give up Montrezl in the CP3 deal because somebody like him is really all we need in my opinion. Obviously Chandler would be even better.

    We couldn’t trade Ryan ANDERSON for a dented folding chair a used beach towel and a pizza with mold on it at this point.
