I'll say this. If we're gonna trade for LeBron it will most likely be after the draft and before July 1 when we can cough up two picks and he can play out the last year of his deal. That way no hard cap on next year's team.

He should find out the weakness and buy new player for MDA. Buy more good useable player. Center and powerforward need to upgrade due to nene have to rest for some matches. PF is not good if Mout is injuried. Fox these 2 problems, houston can get the championship

The title makes it seem like Morey is on his death bed.

If Morey/CP3 do have a grand plan to get LeBron or another top line star over the summer, I don't expect them to damage their cap flexibility with any moves at the trade deadline. Whatever they do, it will be something that will improve the team in some way but keep the flexibility. And clearly buyout candidates are inline with this strategy.

From everything I have read the tea leaves say Morey/CP3 have some sort of plan.

Yeah, it's basketballholic's idea to promote sexual activity among his fellow ClutchFans (and we are all fans of Clutch!). Now where did I put that box of Kleenex?

At that point they can fire MDA and let LeBron & CP3's kids coach the team.

I’m a believer Morey stays pat. Not disrupting the current structure of the Rockets. Plan laid out for the
pickup of a 3rd star this summer. Rockets are in the prime position to pick up said 3rd star this summer.

Assets preserved for the moving of Ryan Anderson over the summer. (This includes Chinanu/Qi/Hartenstien/Gentile/Weber/Troy Williams/Jon Deibler + picks)

Rockets will probably only pickup buyout players like the Cavs did last year with Bogut, Deron Williams and Derrick W.

Sounds like Morey was setup with an intervention. But my guess is he'll sneak a trade when no one is looking.

If there is an opportunity to improve the team significantly I think he'll take it. I don't think that type of opportunity will exist so I expect their to be little activity from the Rockets. They'll hope for an interesting buy-out candidate and that's it.

Man those "assets" don't appear very valuable to me , they might add up to a cold beer and a bag of peanuts .... Not enough to entice a team to take Ryno off Morey's hands helping him land Lebron making a superteam that could dominate the league for 3-4 years making any draft picks exchanged in the process very late and not worth much.

Hartenstien & Qi may be rotation players eventually .... Weber reminds me of PatBev before he learned to shoot , Gentile may never come over .... the rest belong in China or Lithuania .... or Siberia.

    Not buying it.

If he has a chance to dump Ryan and trade Clint for DJ. He will do it all day .

Dumping Ryan has to be in play while not jeopardizing our plans for Lebron.

I don’t see him trading first rounders... just so we can have 2.

I have to agree with Holic. His view seems the most plausible.
