If he came out and said a deal is just about done for Bosh to Houston, I'd believe him. Saying that Houston and Toronto are in talks and Bosh is leaning towards Houston . . . that means nothing to me. Just speculation by Stephen A. Smith.

Did he even say that Bosh is leaning towards Houston? I don't see where the news is here. We already know that Bosh wants the max, and Houston is offering the max. That makes the Rockets a factor in this whole thing, but not necessarily a favorite to get Bosh.

I saw this on the Raptors board, not sure if true.

this afternoon on ESPN radio, Chris Broussard reported that negotiations between the Houston Rockets and Bosh's people have heated up.

The only time I listened to Stephen Smith was when he talked about KWA-MAY Brown.

Bosh is definitely welcome on this roster but the potential for the Bosh & Yao duo is not nearly as great as the Tracy & Yao Duo. The only difference is we'd surround Bosh and Yao with a really good team with players like Martin, Brooks, and Scola.

As everyone knows, I reported last week on my morning drive show on Fox Sports Radio that LeBron James would join Dwayne Wade in Miami and take Chris Bosh with him to join the Heat. At the moment, that is still very possible, but there’s been a potentially huge monkey wrench thrown into the equation — with (understandable) greed on the part of Bosh being the main culprit.

So listen up. Here’s the breakdown:

All along, Pat Riley’s plan as President of the Heat was to convince Wade to take a paycut and offer all three (Wade, LeBron and Bosh) deals averaging approximately $15.7 mil….with opt-outs after three years. But since Bosh wants the max at all cost (and he’s trying to get it in a sign-and-trade deal with Houston), it changed the game for everyone. Especially Miami and New York.

This is exactly right, IMO. I didn't think anyone ever assumed that Bosh wouldn't demand a max contract, and that's what made the idea of Bosh, Wade, and LBJ ending up in Miami a longshot. I just assume it will all come down to the assets Toronto is seeking in SnT. Well, that, and where Bosh is willing to go.

I really want nothing to do with Houston's GM. He is a mastermind when it comes to building a franchise. I mean look what he got from Tracy McGrady's corpse! BC can only get fleeced. I suspect a fleecing above all fleecing if these two negotiate. However, they do have alot of nice assets. If I had it my way I would love the following deal to go down. This would greatly help us rebuild our team properly with prospects and picks. S&T Bosh For Jeffries,Battier(Bought out and he returns to Houston)+Hill+Budinger+2 Knicks picks This trade would take absolutely nothing away from the Houston core. I think Bosh could care less about his rookie backup and Birdinger. Those Knick picks are hit and miss. Could be good, could be garbage. Other assets I would be interested in are Patterson's right and Kyle Lowry.

Kinda random, but could be a little clue when you are grabbing for anything. During Sportscenter they were talking about Chris Paul wanting some help. Then Linda Kohn mentioned that "Paul would be great with Lebron and Amare!" The co-host then said," There is a salary cap, and we'll talk about it off the air!" Linda then came back with, "How do the Rockets do it?" Kinda random, but kinda intersting!
