Harden yells at players the entire game, he's been doing that for like 2-3 years. I think it's something he started doing as a result of the McHale "he's not a good leader" fiasco years back. It could be possible that the incidents aren't related at all, that Harden was just on his ass like he's on everybody's ass about being in the right position for a pass, or helping on D, or whatever it is.
I see Harden bicker with players every game, I'm more concerned with who House lost his **** on, I hope it was a ref that we couldn't see, or a Hawk player or something, him acting like that with any person in our org is not okay.
in tonight's game it was specifically house. if he has a case, he's perfectly in his right to be angry. but we don't know the details. I'm not going to assume who is right and who is wrong
This is what Ariza was talking about when he left the team. He said he was annoyed that a certain superstar on this team received special treatment (Harden) when he was playing poorly but everyone else gets called out when they play poorly. I'm not saying if he's wrong or right but when you're playing like garbage yourself, you shouldn't be grilling your teammates. That job should be for another vet.
I haven't seen it as much this season but Harden has a bad habit of yelling at teammates after he is caught flat footed in a sensible possession that led to a easy bucket.
He had 22 points in the first quarter when that happened and was beasting but you go on talking out of rear end
D House was bad at himself, and Harden was just being a leader....nothing to see here... House just needs to get his head out of his as*
lol that was hearsay from like a third source. Trevor never said it himself, keep on reaching tho anything to keep up the hate.
Absolutely ****ing not. When you are leader and the superstar of the team even if you playing like **** you have every right to tell and demand your peers to elevate their game. I would want james to get on everyone's ass every game and yes I want him to yell at his teammates and get them to play right. if you cant handle that **** then take a seat.
If a guy like Jordan or Kobe held teammates accountable especially on defense, teammates probably respect it because they see their leader putting in the defensive effort while also carrying the offensive load. If a guy like Harden who often plays his pseudos zone defense where he just decides to stay on one spot of a defensive possession and not bother moving his feet, teammates might get irked a bit. Harden has improved in certain aspects of defense. His strength allows him to hold his own in the post while also being allowed to aggressively swipe at the offensive post player but Harden is still below average any any form of defense that requires movement such as fighting through screens or switching out on the perimeter.
House doesn’t bring it every night. Sometimes he is consistently out of position defensively and seems passive and disinterested. I have wondered why this is the case. I think the game is still a little fast for House if he isn’t mentally locked in. Harden is demanding and has been for years. He knows the offense and defensive rotations better than anyone on the court. He has earned tremendous latitude and If someone is even a little off, he tells them repeatedly until they stop. Chris Paul was like that too.... I saw Tucker go off on Paul their first year together. I don’t doubt House was frustrated and pissed at Harden from the video, but I’m not worried. Harden can dish it out and also take it. He has had emotional disagreements with almost everyone on the roster and it works out fine. As long as you care and will have a dialogue he seems to work it out.
