If any indication of the past 2 yrs of Scott Foster reffing our games... its going to be nuclear tomorrow.
I like Scott Foster... so much so, that I'm going to personally prepare his lunch for him today. Eat up Scott, and tell the alternate ref to start stretching...
I feared this. The refs have a strong union. They stick together. This is retribution for leaking the report, and putting the officials on blast. This ain’t good.
Lmao. Of course... say refs are doing an awful job. Get the most corrupted one, cool. Good job league.
Funny how he gets this game. I mean he hasn’t had a Rockets game since February. But game 2. Against the Warriors. That’s the perfect time isn’t it Silver? Funny how this happens. Just a silly coincidence though.
this has far less to do w/ the refs than w/ the league office and their directives for maximizing revenue
For those curious, the Rockets are winless in Foster-officiated games dating back to 2017. Prior to that, they won Game 3 vs the Warriors in 2016(it was by a single point and their lone victory in that series) and amazingly enough the Game 6 Harden-less comeback vs the Clippers. I'm not sure about prior to 2015 and frankly I don't care since the Rockets were first round fodder and not very good anyway. So the NBA knows exactly what they're doing here. This is one giant F U to the entire Rockets organization. If they manage to win this game, start planning the parade downtown, cuz it would be the miracle to end all miracles.
Skip just mentioned it again on Undisputed. Wtf. Dude hasnt reffed a game since the last incident. How in the world can you assign this guy given the history and game 1. Rest of the crew is not much better. I havent complained since game 1 cos it is what it is. But this is a bad look
