That's about the same time that CP3 said the same thing last year. I'm thinking that means next Thursday will be when the Lebron opt in and trade happens.

I don't know I just reposted from realgm. If someone wants to find that podcast (@JR ?) and find out

Also the Mavs rumoured to go after RFA Smart. If true that's great for Capela's pricetag.

Mavs going after Smart is interesting. That would be great for Capela. Also saw a post in the NBA Forum that said the Mavs were interested in Wizards Gortat. That would be good.

From a Rockets perspective, there's literally nothing they can do until this Friday. You aren't going to hear any rumors right now because there's nothing to talk about. Starting Friday though, I have a feeling we'll be barraged with info.

Dan Patrick can't break an egg... let alone a story like Lebron is opting out

I get the interest the Cavs have in Kemba. What what are they offering? They aren't going to trade the #8 pick. And I don't see them trading Love.

I mentioned before that Kemba Walker is the kind of guy the Lakers could be interested in if they got Paul George and LeBron. Certainly more realistic than Damian Lillard. But a deal like that would have to happen in July AFTER PG/LBJ were secured.

I'll believe it when I see it. This is what Lebron needs to say to force an opt-in trade. If he does opt out, congrats LA.

I gave Kupchak the benefit of the doubt when he swung and got Pau, but he really is a moron.

It's not stupid. The Mozgov move was an attempt to get under the luxury tax. Trading Kemba for a pick will set up for a faster rebuild. Kupchek will probably dump Batum soon as well.

With that Batum contract.....to dump that? It is more toxic than Anderson's right now.

they can get under the lux tax by trading away Kemba's salary.
And if they plan to take back contracts at the very least they could wait to finish the trade and see what they take back, before doing such a thing as taking a year more of Mozgov.

As a rebuilding team selling 16 mil of capspace for 2 bad seconds is beyond r****ded.

I hate the idea of giving up Gordon and would only do it if it means Anderson goes with him.

Gordon is the real floor spacer unlike that clown Anderson.

He complements Harden's and Paul's game.
