    He's probably got one more season left of being the best player in the league, and then another three after that where he's a top10 player in the league. A four-year window with Harden, CP3, and LeBron is something you take in a heartbeat.

    Sorry, don't want to read the first 16 pages... Is there any chance Lebron could join us THIS SEASON? Just curious.

    I wonder what the vegas odds for chip would be if we got him. I would think we surpass GS.

    Our poo poo platter is pretty bad . We can hope that one of Hartenstein , Qi , or nanu really impresses and builds their stock .

    I don’t disagree that most likely he just opts out, I was just saying if he does get traded it will be to Houston or no where.

    Agreed....a LBJ trade doesn’t depend at all on Caps salary or what CP3 commands. But the latter does impact our luxury tax and how much tilman is willing to dish out for the supporting cast. It’d also affect a difference between tax payer MLE vs full MLE but I’m not sure what that threshold is in a LBJ trade scenario.

    OKC will also go for Lebron.
    And that would be the best narrative for Lebron if he wins there.
    Win a ring for OKC when Durant couldn't.
    Also something tells me he would rather play with Westbrook than Harden (that is based on nothing; just what I think). He is best friends with Chris Paul but he is also best friends with Melo and loves Paul George.
    And don't say it can't happen. That would be foolish for anyone in this forum to say after what happened with those two this summer.

    Matter of fact, I'm calling it right now. OKC will get Lebron in a sign and trade this summer. I predicted Melo to OKC way before it happened; and I also said Chris Paul would go to San Antonio over Houston. So I'm no Oracle. Just my prediction.

    With what money can the afford 5 guys making 25+ mil a year?

    They are going to have a tough choice with just pg13.

    That Steven Adams and Roberson contract is going to hurt there ability to resign pg13.

    Let alone get Lebron.

    Russ is 35m next year
    Pg13 will be 30m
    Melo is 26m
    Adams 25m
    Roberson 10m

    There so far over the cap as is.
