    They indirectly are saying they do not want him there.

    They cover their tracks with we can still keep him.

    I think he really cares about the NYK organization. Watch him expand to different teams like Boston, ETC.

    Think the Knicks have basically resigned to the fact that they have to take back some not so great contracts, but the players they are getting back have to actually fit the mold of what they are looking for. Anderson doesn't fit. He's 29 years old and we don't need a PF. Meyers Leonard doesn't fit - he is a poor player and he doesn't fill a position of need. If Phoenix wants Anderson and the Knicks could get Brandon Knight, this deal will get done. And it's not that B Knight is a better player than Anderson, he's not, but he fills a niche in terms of age and the position that he plays.

    its obvious. They're trying to force melo to waive his no trade for more teams. Doesn't look like they're willing to trade him to rockets or cavs
