He was obviously sent to cover this game so any momentum/50-50 calls went the Spurs way. NBA can't have all 4 series be sweeps..they need at least 1 to be competitive..
That was a horrible call. I think people are just asking for good calls, not biased towards the Rockets. The officiating has been horrible.
When I saw Brothers was reffing I knew it would take a miracle for the Rockets to win. After the game earlier in the season where a ball bounced of Ariza's hand and was called a kicked ball, and Brothers went and reviewed it and didn't change the call, I truly believe he's either on the take, or just completely hates the Rockets. Either way I hope he never refs another Rockets game again.

Still scratching my head at Kawhi getting that shooting foul on a very obvious pass off...he was looking at opposite direction..not even at the rim..and then the foul happens and he puts his hands up slowly thinking "...maybe they'll fall for this..? I mean I get superstar calls now...so I'mma try...yo they fell for it...sweet" this was when the Rockets were getting semblance of momentum back.
There were 33 FTs for both teams the entire game. There were not a lot of FTs in the game. The problem with the rockets is they depend on refs sometimes. Ryan Anderson was hot I don't know why they didn't go to him in the second half. Always blaming the Refs is dumb especially when the Rockets get more FTs than any team in the NBA.
The polls show that 100% of voters think he's worse than Hitler, so I'm not sure what you're talking about. As a Jew I've never felt more marginalized and hopeless as I feel watching Tony Brothers ref Rocket games.
Can someone find all the games that Tony brothers has referred when the rockets play and tell me the % we lose. I have a feeling that we lose about 60-65% of games he officiated

Tony Brothers also reffed that "take that for data" game IIRC. He doesn't hate us. Just implemented by the NBA to push the new Kawhi narrative now that their golden boy RWB is out. And when we're done waxing these flopping pansies from San Antonio, best believe he'll be there for former golden boy Stephanie Curry
