After getting shat on by Scott Foster, Hitler comes along and reminds the fans in the arena who they really pay to see. The league will do nothing about these horrible referees but they will fine huge amounts of money to the players who are negatively affected by their ineptitude. Who else is excited for Brian Windhorse to tell everyone on ESPN that Tony Brothers is one of the best referees in the league?
What game were you watching? Also, who could forget what Mike Brown said to Tony Brothers outside the locker room some years back. Tony's reaction was priceless
Windbag is officially at the bottom of my list of sports commentators due to his misconceptions and incessant ass kissing. Why no accountability of refs? I don't know how much refs make per year but whoever is in charge of them needs to hit them in the pocketbook hard when a ref such as Foster or Brothers makes the type of calls that they make. One bad call can really impact a game in a bad way and next thing you know loyal fans are comparing the NBA to the WWE. That is not good for the NBA and they should do something about it. The arrogance and the lack of accountability of some of these refs is getting out of hand. We use instant replay for everything else. Maybe we should use it to overcome some of their self-serving and questionable calls.
That ejection was pretty ridiculous and out of line. If a player is complain to a certain ref, the onus should be on that ref to decide whether the player should be ejected.
I'm not complaining about the poll options. But hey, I had to change my vote from "yes" to "absolutely" because OP put "yes" as the first choice.
