Download winzip from www.winzip.com and install it. Download the file (whichever one). Extract the file using Winzip to some place on your hard drive. Double-click the extracted file to run it. If you have the Real player and want to run the 2nd file, try downloading Real player version 9 from Real Networks first. If it still doesn't run, don't double-click it to run it - go to the File menu in the Real player and open it that way. Or you can probably rename the extension (which I probably should've done) to begin with. Rename the file extension to .rm instead of the .rmVBR or whatever it is right now. Hope that helped.
similar situation. tried vmp, realplayer... all asked for plugins and then told me it could not download nothing. double click, open...nothing worked. dam!!
Thanks for trying, guys, but I can't get the mpeg to play on either player, even with the divx codec, and I get an error message about the archive validity of the realplayer file while trying to download. The divx damn near blue-screened my pc after reboot, so I'm not going to mess with this stuff any more.
If you are having problems with playing the clip on Real One, where it ask to download something and then says does not have it to download, you need to extract the clip from the zip file and then open the clip with Real One. That should allow you to go past the needing to add a plugin problems. Hope that helps. And MING is the REAL DEAL .... boy got some moves and not afraid to throw it down someone's grill. No question about the playoffs now.
worked for me using real audio. and might i say that ming is impressive....he is greener than the "cigarette" in mo taylor's mouth, and just as potent! give ming 2 years of weight training and proper coaching and he WILL be the best center in the nba (if shaq's gone that is)...
Here are my two cents for opening it: 1) Download the 16m real version, the quality is still good enough. 2) unzip it, don't double click the mpeg file, rather extract to some folder. 3) open your realone player, open your extracted file form there. 4) If you still have problem. You need to go tool/update and let your real player access the net to get the codec. hope this helps
Will, Don't attempt to run the mpeg in Real Player. D/L the latest Real Player (ie, Real One) and open the 16MB file that DroDunk provides. You HAVE to see this. Ming can score 20+ppg with those spin-move baby hooks, left and right. imo, those low post moves and footwork (including speed) are as polished as Duncan's were at similar age. Ming will have to be shoved further out from the block and/or double teamed. He has such a long first step, though, that he can operate further from other player's sweet-spot post position, and still get off a 6-8'er with one easy move. He is in a different league. He showed a nice up and under move with a leaner to finish. That was McHale-esque. Notice how fast he is on that one fastbreak. He gets position quickly in transition. That, again, is Duncan-like.
Wow, I'm impressed. Yao looks so agile and aggressive. I'm pumped up for this season. Thanks DOD and 3814.
No problem here with Win2K and DivX 5.0. I can't wait to see if he can do those post moves against NBA centers, those were sweet. And those two steals are Hakeem-like. Thanks Chad & DoD!
i noticed that, too, heypee. he really got up the court on that on break. i'm not sure any of our big men (including eddie) could have gotten up the court as fast as ming did then. that was truly impressive. damnit, verse, be patient! give this kid (literally) one or two seasons to get his cardio and upper body in shape and damned if he won't be the next dominant center of the nba!!!
none of the members here are gettin me excited for the upcoming season...the only guy that IS getting me excited is Yao. Man that guy can run/post up/spin/block/steal/shoot...though he does need to work on his upper body and JUMP BALLS!!!
Whew, I'm tired!! After a lot of stumblin', bumblin', and trippin', I FINALLY got the damn file to show! Very impressive, especially the little spin move off the dribble. Very nice! And to think, his post moves aren't nearly as polished as they will be in a few years. Great job, 3814 and DoD! Also, I'll write it again,....those unis look NICE. Red & Gold works beautifully. (Hint, hint, Rockets!)
Man...seeing stuff like this gets me so stoked over Ming. I really think he can be an amazing center. I was curious, in one of the plays, he dunks in a ball that was rolling around on the rim and was going to fall in anyway. I know that in those international league games, excessive goaltending is allowed. Is that also the case in the Chinese leagues? If Ming just picked that up quickly for the international games, that is great. But if he has been doing it all along, it might be something we will have to break him of. But that is a small problem that I am sure Ming will solve quickly. Awesome video. Thanks to everyone involved. Edit: Seeing those clips has made me very nervous about that other bet made with HP...Cato better get pretty damn motivated pretty damn fast if he wants to beat out Yao for the starting job.
I think Rudy should take a page from "The Dom". Bada-boom Bada-MING. Thanks for the clip. Go Rockets!!
SWEEEEEEEEET! Yao is the man. Fluid, Quick, Agile If he can spin around his man at 15' he can take his NBA 1 step and dunk the ball. Man what a stride.
After seeing Ming in that clip, I cant see any reason why Rudy would start Cato over Ming. Ming better be the starting center on this team come October 30.
i think they should start cato and allow ming another month to develop into the season. start him off playing 10-15 minutes a game in the first weeks versus NBA stars to 20 minutes/game near the end of that month, and then put him in starting position. He needs to develop playing against NBA competition in game situations.
