I could have posted this in the thread that 3814 started earlier, but I didn't know how many of you were still following that thread, and I think this deserves some credit.

3814 is a Vancouver resident who just so happened to take his video camera to the China vs. Canada game and got some highlights of Ming's play. First and foremost, I want to give this guy credit because he really didn't need to do this, but he did - props to you Chad!

Secondly, the file is about 70 megs! It's only about 2 mins of video which apparently wasn't too compressed when recorded (first the Florida elections, now videos on bbs'... one way or another those Chads will get you).

I've zipped up the file, so all you have to do is go to the link below, download the file, unzip it and watch the movie (it's an mpeg).

I'd also like to thank Johnny Rocket who offered to store the file on his site. I would've taken him up on the offer, but he just emailed me and I was already just about done uploading the monster file to my domain.

Now I just hope my domain provider doesn't shut down my account because of this... lol. If they do, oh well... :)

    ** EDIT ** : I've now added a Real Player version that's a bit smaller at 16 megs.

    Enjoy :

oh, I am doing 330KB/s.. This is a disaster speed for your domain..

You can easily encode mpg to rm. or limite the upload speed.

    I am watching it,...

and laughing ...... at a monster steal, Is that a steal?

clip is wonderful, thank you! but only 132 seconds??

WOW, this footage was GREAT! Yao didn't look timid at all when he attacked the basket in this game. I am so excited about Ming! If you can at all download this, you'll be very pleased after you watch it. Sure, it is only a highlight of the good things he did, but he looked like a future all-star out there. If you have dial up set this to download overnight, and you'll be rewarded in the morning.

Try getting the Divx codec, I think that might solve the problem everyone is having.

    might need divx codec?
    I watched it by realone.

Install a Nimo codec pack, then everything related codec is solved.

thanks Dr of Dunk for puttin that up for me...that's awesome...i couldn't of done this by myself. Also thanks to Johnny Rockets and zenithnadir for the offers to host the video.

I'll try and find a way to get the 22 minutes of Yao put together, but DO NOT expect it, cuz i don't have the software right now...i might be getting Adobe Premiere which would make it much easier...so if i do, i will try and put it together for you.

Enjoy the Video! (oh, and as for that first dunk, well, i missed it with my camcorder...so i video'd the big screen).

I'm in the process of converting it to realvideo format... I wonder if that will solve some of you guys' problems. I'm not sure.

If you guys get the DivX codec posted by B and it solves your problem, let others know.

I'm running it in Windows Media Player 7 and 8 with no problems.
