He's having a very good game but he's not carrying the team by any means. Their Big 3 are all playing well, too.

And Lowry is much better than Rafer.

People “overreact” to Rafer’s shooting …IT’S NOT ALL ABOUT SHOOTING!! …Rafers ball handling and passing are helping the big 3 get good shots.

Hedo has done most of the playmaking throughout the playoffs. He has 7 assists to Rafer's 3 tonight.

Rafer is playing a good game and shooting well but he is not carrying the team.

    He can't. Brooks sucks.

    That changes nothing about Rafer.

He'll have a good shooting for one out of every 3 or 4 games.

When he takes 3 times as many shots as he does assists, then it's about his shots which are turn into to turnovers.

He only passes the ball 3 or 4 times a game, but takes 10-15 shots every game.

Magic are a much better team with Rafer at pg...If the Magic had stuck with Rafer...and had not tried to experiment with Jameer Nelson coming back...they may not be down 2-0

Lowry is a better defender, a better rebounder, a better scorer, an equally good playmaker, is among the elite in the league in points per shot because of his ability to create contact and get to the line. Oh... and he is a decade younger than Rafer with tons of upside.

Rafer is a better ballhandler and 3pt shooter... that's it. He's also the 2nd worst shooter in the entire league inside the arc and rarely gets to the line. He has peaked as a pro and that peak was unimpressive, placing him in the bottom of tier of PGs when evaluating his overall game.

People talk about how shooting/scoring efficiency isn't everything when it comes to the PG position, which is absolutely true.

It's also true that scoring and shooting efficiency matter, even if they aren't everything.

Name an above average PG in recent history other than Jason Kidd who wasn't at the very least an efficient scorer.

Rockets offense was more stable when Rafer was here...Brooks and Lowry play out of control sometimes...and turn the ball over alot.

True, but the difference in Rafer's ball control would have been offset by his scoring inefficiency and most importantly, with all the injuries we sustained this season, Rafer would not have put us over the top in the Lakers series. Keeping Rafer did not make us a championship team. Morey knew this ahead of time and took advantage of Orlando's desperate situation, maxing out Rafer's trade value and getting a better, younger player in return.

If rafer played well the rockets won when he played bad we lost. When he plays well magic win when he plays bad they lose.
