That's what happened 2 years ago too, it gets mentions, but without any real challenger it's a pretty boring topic.

He is but not really. They did fine without him and Harden, Giannis, Lebron, Kyrie, Durant and Westbrook have arguably better seasons.

Harden can be a front runner all year he still won’t win it; somebody else will heat up after Allstar break and steal it (Again).

Don’t get your hopes up folks - we know how this story ends.

    Curry for MVP...lol, yeah right...

dude has missed 15 games and his team did fine without him, plus Harden is having the better season and is right behind GS for 1st in the West with no other all stars on his team while Curry plays with 3 other all stars

    stop it...

Recency bias. Curry is having a better month, loss to Houston notwithstanding.

Harden is having a better season and won the season series 2-1 against GS. Curry has missed 15 games, and his team went 11-4 without him. Harden missed 7, and we went 4-3. GS is sending 4 players to the all star game while Houston is sending just 1, but the Rockets still have a 34-13 record and have been on GS’s heels for most of the season.

Anyone who has Curry ahead of Harden right now is just an idiot trying to be edgy in order to get attention. Has there ever even been an MVP that missed 10 games in a season, let alone 15? Smh.

Like I said, recency bias. Not a defense, just an observation of what’s going on. Same story last year.

We are in the middle of the season, and at some point Harden will have a great stretch of games and he’ll leap ahead again. Just hope he finishes strong, because whether you like it or not it matters for voters.

In this case Durvasa was explaining why the tweeters are being irrational, not defending Curry

Recency bias is a form of irrational thinking.

If Curry keeps this up then he could very well win his 3rd MVP.Westbrook is 3rd right now and Harden and Curry are 1A and 1B. These are the current MVP candidates. Hopefully near the end of the season Curry has a couple of bad games, and KD has a few 40+ point games, but I doubt it.

Harden is averaging 31/9/5 for ****s sake and the Rockets are on pace to win 59 games. What the **** else does he have to do? His second best player in Chris Paul has missed 15+ games. Seriously, what the **** does Harden have to do?

The MVP voters need to stick a narrative. If Curry wins MVP because his team is better, and is averaging very similar numbers to Harden then my head will explode.

Here comes DALLAS Stein. He was quick to crown Kyrie and now Curry.

When Harden hit that 3 in Curry's eyehole and then blocked his shot? Radio silence from DALLAS Stein.

    F that guy.
