    Hahaha.

Yep - exactly the same post I made in another thread.

First Giannis' name is hammered into us by the media.

Then LeBron's when he was taking it from Harden.

Now Harden is miles ahead of anyone else, the MVP all of a sudden isn't a worthy topic to talk about.

Noticed the same thing. Harden's defining MVP moment against Curry and GSW was never talked about again. Instead the conversation was dominated by what Capela said in passing.

it'll shift to KD after the all-star break. "he's the best player on the team with the best record, winning should matter you know

I like to DVR sports media after a big win to see what the NBA landscape is talking about -- and nobody was talking about Harden and the MVP. I DVR'd like 8-10 of these joints.. They were all talking about if the Rockets were better than the Warriors. The answer was no across the board of course. I guess I'm thankful because it was a short watch; FF through all the segments.

I remember when Kawhi got that ONE block on Harden to seal a game last year; it was wall to wall coverage of that ONE block, the defining moment in Kawhi's season.

Harden had his defining moment (so far) going up 2-1 on GSW with a game winning step-back 3 on Curry after taking the game over in the 4th with GSW surging.. Nobody really cares. Didn't even mention the defense.

Can you imagine if Curry nailed a three in Harden's face then made that block while winning the season series? Curry would actually be seen as an equal front runner to Harden.

Harden is the front-runner, but it’s more about the other candidates falling back than Harden’s performance pushing him ahead. He was out for several games, and now he’s ramping himself back up on his return.

Harden is winning it this year.

Only Allstar on his team and leading them to the second best record in the league hot on GSW’s heels.

True lol, last time we heard about it, was when they were talking about Lebron, and that was after they talked about Irving and Giannis.

I made the same observation on real gm.

The media just wants any excuse to give the mvp to anyone but harden.

It’s killing them that they have no choice but to give it to harden.

To be fair, those other races were much closer. Talking about Harden as MVP frontrunner is something everybody knows already.
