Ask me in 3 years…. I think we will have a better picture of Mobley or Green both will be. I was in the camp of wanting to draft Green because in the long term, I thought he will have the highest ceiling.

 

LOL. What a meaningless argument when comparing a team with established talent as compared to a rebuilding team. Put Mobley on the Rockets, and not only do we not win any more games, he wouldn’t be on the ROY running IMO.

Since the beginning of Feb., Mobley has had six (!) triple-single games and several games of near triple-singles, and has only scored 20+ points six times. In that same span, Green has only scored fewer than 10 points twice, and has scored 20+ fifteen times.

 

I literally just showed you how, recently, your boy Mobley has been the King of triple-singles and sub-20 games. Keep thinking the next Bam is the next KD.

 

No. But three consecutive 30 point games is much, much more impressive than anything Mobley has done this season.

 

Evan Mobley has a defensive rating of 113.1 without Jarrett Allen (15 games) , and a defensive rating of 106.5 with Jarrett Allen (52 games). Mobley would literally go from top among rookies in defensive rating, to literally barely in front of Jalen Green and one of the worse in the league, without Allen.

Jarrett Allen on the other hand maintains a defensive rating of 109.1 without Mobley, although the sample size is not as big (4 games).

Without Jarrett Allen, Cleveland's defense is 3rd worse in the league

You should have moved on once Allen got hurt and it became clear how pivotal Mobley has been to winning those games, especially since everyone is saying Mobley landed in the perfect situation for him. We haven't seen him display anything to conclude that our sorry team would win more games with him.

Mid January you mean before jalens 3 consecutive 30 point games. Before he steung together consecutive 20 pt games, before his defense improved, before he showed he is not just a streaky shooter on a hot streak (like he was after his injury ), before Mobely looked very human, before Cavs lost almost all games they played with Mobely but without Allen. Ok

 

Would be like trading Kobe for Chris Bosh. No thanks.
