I’m at Green, KPJ, Wood, Christopher, this year’s Nets/Heat pick, 2023 Bucks, and maybe this year’s pick with top 3 protection.

And that still seems like not enough.

I would give up Theis for him. That's about it.

This deserves to be in the random trade thread. This is not worthy of IDIOT status.

That ship has sailed. There's nothing on the Rockets good enough to land a young franchise player like that.

    Mobley was drafted at #3
    Green was drafted at #2

Based on 11 regular season games you‘re not only willing to give up the player picked higher, but also any assets the team has… for what exactly?

I‘ve seen some very stupid threads on here but this one is definitely atleast TOP3.

I’m not giving up on Jalen at all but my gawd the expected outcome for his career is so much lower than Mobley at the moment. I’m more commenting on how crazy that happening being the case is after 11 games.

Putting aside fit and whatnot, Cleveland wouldn’t even consider that deal without our pick this year I’m guessing.

You think Cleveland accepts that deal the second Stone calls with it?

I don't think either team agrees to a trade.

You say you're not giving up on Jalen but you decided to make this thread and offer up the entire roster (including Jalen). Sounds logical.

Giving up is different than recognizing how much the players’ values have shifted after 11 games.

Jalen’s ceiling is still super high but Mobley’s is higher and Mobley’s floor is 50 stories higher than Jalen’s.

If we made that offer to Cleveland without including next year’s pick they’d laugh in Stone’s face and probably still hang up the phone even with including next year’s pick.

Mobley stans just a walking contradiction…Mobley stans will be like “Green sucks, is feminine, immature, a bust, but I root for him”…nah, they root for being right about Mobley

I'm really trying to figure out this frame of mindset if they are sincere Rocket fans. Like if we got Mobley and Green was drafted to the Cavs, my infatuation with him and following him would end right there and Mobley would be who I was following and caring about... Because he's a Rocket.

I was basically 50/50 on who to pick between the two so definitely not hoping to be proven right to say I told you so by Mobley turning out better. And actually after the draft I was even more okay with how it turned out with choosing Jalen since we got Sengun.
