I’ll put it like this. If we would’ve been watching these Jalen Green highlights on Twitter and YouTube from the last 2 months a lot of us would’ve been sick.

Not saying we would’ve been upset we picked Mobley collectively, but a lot of people would’ve been doubting the choice just like the Green pick was questioned by some the first couple months of the season when Mobley was a “Steady Eddie” and JG was struggling.

Jalen Green has flashed superstar potential several times this season and made some jaw dropping plays that are special for a guard.

6 of the top 7 guys in this draft have special talent.

 

This just shows you important patience is with assessing rookies.

Mobley has been pretty good but Allen's extended absence has shown he has benefitted a lot from his really good teammates and became overrated quite a bit as a result.

 

jalen green has not flashed superstar potential. He is just jacking 3’s and getting the occasional highlight reel dunk. He has no floor game to speak of whatsoever

Guys, the OP was sarcasm. It was basically saying, ‘oh man, Mobley lookin real good, should we have drafted him instead?’ Totally legitimate thought, especially when posted four months ago. He wasn’t actually suggesting to trade the entire team for Mobley. Let’s lighten up a bit.

not sure if trolling or if you are saying he is not playing like a superstar yet (which he is not). But a player thus young with a great 3pt shot, one of the best midrange shots in the game and elite athrleticism and really good finishing at he rim ability, that also gets to the free throw line more than any other rookie and plays great 1 on 1 defense definitely shows flashes of superstardom to me. That doesn’t mean he will become one - but he certainly has the potential!
