Sexton’s not bad depending on the price. You don’t necessarily have to have a pass first point guard. Sexton protects the ball better than KPJ and is a better shooter in all areas. That’s instant improvement. If he takes even more shots than KPJ, even better… they go in at a higher rate. Others will get their shots. In fact, it’s more likely they will get a chance since a turnover is less likely.

I’d actually now consider myself pro-Sexton.

    Yes,

Caruso has been known for his defense. 3&D PG/SG to go
    with our new defensive mindset.

What I wanted of Bones Hyland; but at 6'5".....stagger KPj/Green
    Platoon of KPj/Green....with Caruso.

Boban gives the locker room comic relief......which is important to some (not me)

Useful player, decent contract. But not an answer to our needs. Just a scorer, poor defender, not a winning player (negative BPM and on-off plus/minus in each of his 5 seasons). I think he’s found his niche at Utah, unless he takes another jump in scoring efficiency, large enough to offset his weakness on the other end.

Trade Jalen Green, Ego and Milwaukee FRP for LaMelo Ball and we clear roster space, move KPJ to the SG and hit go.

That’s the worst thing I’ve read on the internet so far today. Congrats.

I wouldn’t trade Jalen for LaMelo straight up.

What a bizarre take. Stop trying to trade Jalen.

I am profoundly thankful that you aren’t our GM.

Why not? We need to balance the roster right? I know people would trade KPJ for LaMelo, I just don't think Charlotte would do that....so if KPJ and Jalen are fairly close in their skills, why not look at trading either of them?

It is an asset business, can't get too attached to anyone, right? We are unbalanced, people want a PG that speeds things up, that is a better PG, if you can get an elite one like Melo - why not do it?

Because Jalen Green is far and away the most important and valuable person on our roster.

Why do you say that? He is a semi efficient scorer, who is bad on defense, has a weak left hand, isn't a great passer or dribbler, but is a great athlete with an elite first step, and good finishing with his right hand.

He is doing well, but LaMelo is better than both he and KPJ - right?

Why would you not go for the better player?

It isn't trolling, it is a legit discussion - if the objective is to UPGRADE the team - as it should be, why wouldn't you trade some of your better up and coming pieces for a guaranteed All-star, budding superstar player?

There is ZERO guarantee Jalen gets to that level...ZERO......so why wouldn't you trade him for LaMelo?

I would trade anyone on our team for LaMelo with the exception of Jabari...as it would unbalance us by doing it.

Nah come on dude, this is a horrible take and I'm sure you know it. You spend a lot of time advocating that people give KPJ a shot but then condemn Green in his second season like he's a finished product. You say you see Lavine in Green, you're right Green THIS SEASON has a statline that's so close to Lavine's THIS SEASON that Lavine's clearly his floor, not his ceiling. The potential for Green is so much above and beyond KPJ that people will read your suggestion as a deliberate troll attempt.

    1. No, LaMelo is not the better player.

    2. You act like Jalen is a finished project when in fact he is a 20-yr-old freak of nature oozing potential and already averaging 21/4/4.

Look at LaMelo's stat line ??? I mean he is the better player......this is not a troll it is to get people to wake up and say......should we take a GIVEN over a MAYBE and that Green is not untouchable.....as he isn't.

KPJ being our point guard is killing us as a team, heck of a SF or 6th Man though
