The three things that stick out to me is (1) arm strength and velocity, even when on the move (2) speed at getting rid of the ball (3) movement in and out of the pocket.
Like this pick lots. He could be the QB like Russ in Seahawks. Just let the team play defense, use the QB only when you have to do. Also we have a great RB who can run lots.
So, "kid" is ONLY derogatory when used to refer to black QBs? Is it derogatory to refer to a white QB as "kid"? Is it derogatory to refer to any 18-22 year old as "kid" regardless of athletics, profession, etc? I have never in my long life observed that "kid" was derogatory. No red herrings. Just curious as to your thought process on this.
Bigtexxx has admitted to using derogatory words towards black QBs: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/teddy-bridgewater.250618/page-94#post-8794378
My point is that "kid" is used almost exclusively for black QBs -- not white QBs. I don't like it. (and the post you quoted I was clearly mocking other posters, so it proves no point. nice try!)
Mocking other posters here as well: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/index.php?threads/teddy-bridgewater.250618/page-103#post-8801752 You should quit perpetuating this derogatory term.....
That's the price for a good team to move up and get a potential franchise quarterback. The same would be true next year, and beyond.
Totally unrelated (but I'm laughing at your posts, keep it up), but it's always fun to go back and read old draft threads. Anyone here who thinks any of us really know **** about **** is fooling themselves. Basketball players are a whole lot easier to evaluate for the fan, casual or hardcore: less "noise" on the field, very easy to iso just on them, much easier to judge success/failure or good play/bad play, etc....
Yes - it was obvious. Looks like I struck a nerve with you. The truth tends to do that. In any event, I do have an open mind about Watson. I'll certainly cheer for him to succeed.
