Actually it took Morey so little time to match that steal of an offer sheet he had plenty of time to go get lipo
Yes, once he gets acclimated to the system, I will go with that. My big thing was interior defense. I felt the Rockets had enough offense. D-Mo block% is awful. Like Nene, D-Mo plays defense below the rim.
sounds like he really is done......basically chomped at the most he could get guaranteed now with total disregard for future earnings
He's already dropped in. Has already moved on. Will start making more guarantees about something else by this afternoon.
Keep in mind Capela is young and energetic....took him awhile to build up his game shape to current 26 mins game. Probably the news doesn't make Nene and Harrell's day too good. I really don't see a need for Nene anymore. He had to know that there was a good chance D-Mo comes back. Nene is a free agent at seasons end. No doubt he doesn't want to sit gathering dust at the end of the bench. Rockets probably don't want a disgruntled player wanting to get his stats upsetting the chemistry. Rockets kind of went thru that with D12 last year. I look for Nene to be traded by Feb.
Nene is already taking extensive rest. As long as he's healthy for the playoffs that's what matters for him. Also DMo isn't a pinnacle of health either. I don't think he's going to jump right in to 20 minutes/night in a fast paced offense. Harrell is young and the minutes he gets this year will largely be setting him up for subsequent seasons.
Don't give many (just few) ****s how much his getting, get his ass on the court and let's see if boy still has it.
1. Rubio will be an all-time great point guard 2. Rubio is what the Rockets need 3. No one will trade for Ty Lawson, not even the Rockets 4. DMo will get $15 million a season 5. Y'all fools don't know anything about negotiation while BJ Armstrong does
Nene is at the very end of his career, he's already banged up a bit after less than 300 minutes on the court so he's not an everyday player anymore. I see him in the same role as Mutombo was when he was here in Houston, basically there for emergencies and as a locker room presence. Nene will be happy being on a contender at the end is my guess. Also, I think Brewer might be upset about this news given that DMo will likely eventually get most of the backup 4 minutes and Dekker has been good enough to where you for sure want to keep him on the court so he goes back to his natural position at SF meaning that Brewer is out of the rotation.....which is awesome.
Those first two really put into perspective how bad of a basketball mind we're dealing with here. Rubio is a punchline at this point
