    What do you think we could get in a trade for Kevin Martin?

    Would Anyone take Lamar Odem? Doesn't Dallas still have his rights?

    Great idea. I wonder how nobody has thought of this yet.

    As for what we could get, probably the #18 pick (from the T-Wolves) and salary fillers. Possibly more (some kind of protected future pick) depending on how desperate the T-Wolves are.

    Rough crowd. Yes we do need to trade Martin but his value is not very high at all so it might be better to just hang onto him until the deadline. As for Odom, hell to the nah.

    Martin is still capable of putting up reasonable numbers and is an expiring contract. If the incomng player is a an upgrade, then the Rockets will be forced to take on a semi-bad contract.

    A smarter play by the TWolves would be just to wait until the Rockets amnestied Martin. Especially since the really don't have any bad contracts. (Brad Miller is retiring, Beasley is a QO FA and Martell Webster is a TOpt).

    Then again, maybe the Rockets need to pump up Martin's value by reminding the 29 other teams that (in Q4) Martin gets to line like Jordan in his prime. :p

    I see no real need to move Martin unless cap room is needed or a big contract match for a big deal. This would be the a sell low move, which is just dumb.
