Apparently, Couldn't carry his team to the playoffs >>>> one loss away from losing in the first round >> being the best player in a first-round series and advancing to the second round. People have such weird standards these days on what's 'good.'
Dame's reputation gonna live off this game until the end of his career lol. Didn't see it, wish I did though.
Curry way overachieved this year. He put up an MVP caliber season and nearly carried a trash team that had no business being anywhere close to the playoffs within a game of making it. Besides... his legacy was/is already set in stone. 3 X Champion and 2 X MVP. Your bearded bum has some serious catching up to do to get on Steph’s level.
3 X Champion and 2 X MVP. Harden had his chances since 2014 to show who the real one is. Instead he fumbled it away when it was pressure time.
what if harden was surrounded with durant, and klay in houston.. instead of eric gordon, and an old injured cp3. he damn near won it 2018 if cp3 didnt get injured. Imagine harden with that golden state roster lol curry is a frontrunner, thats all he is. he chokes under pressure. Dude choked againist a team he already beat in the play-in. Ive seen curry choke and get carried by klay, iggy and durant in the playoffs time and time again.. so much so that "game 6 klay" is a trademark lol
curry's season this year was OVERRATED by the media. If curry was that great, he would have been in top 5 of basketball reference mvp tracker. dude barely finished at the 10th spot. Curry'S PER, VORP, AND win shares/48 were nowhere near mvp calibur. Harden was having a more impactful season than curry before he got injured. thats why basketball reference had him 2nd behind jokic before he had the hamstring injury
https://www.basketball-reference.com/friv/mvp.html media has curry as an mvp finalist, what does the basketball gospel think. barely cracks the top 10. The media is the reason harden doesnt have more mvps
if only his lazy ass worked to get better on defense instead of just chucking the long distance shots.... defense is 50% of the game
This was honestly one of the best games I've watched in a very long time. Every time you'd think it was over, Dame would come and hit an insane shot. That last pass by Jokic to Porter was an absolute work of art. My girlfriend was watching beside me and she's as much of a casual fan as they come but her eyes were absolutely glued to the screen. Also, Jokic's defense is painfully overrated. He covered those switches on Dame masterfully. Sure Dame was still making shots but he wasn't just blowing by Jokic off the switch like you'd expect him too. It's slow and lumbering but Jokic tries really hard and gets exactly to where he needs to be to stop the drive.
