http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/basketball/nba/02/23/watson/index.html NEW YORK (SI.com) -- A league source has confirmed to SI.com that the Denver Nuggets have traded point guard Earl Watson to the Seattle SuperSonics as part of a three-team deal. In exchange for Watson and a future second-round pick (from Denver), the Sonics sent power forward Reggie Evans to the Nuggets and center Vitaly Potapenko to the Portland Trail Blazers. The Blazers also received Denver guard Voshon Lenard and sent Ruben Patterson to the Nuggets. The deal reunites Watson with the team that originally drafted him in 2001, offers future salary-cap relief to the Blazers and promises to fortify the Nuggets rebounding and defense. The deal, which won't be announced until the 3 p.m. ET deadline, may also include a few other players for salary-matching purposes.
