He's going to announce that he'll be playing this season in the Cayman Islands league.

Why in the world would he announce his retirement on 1st take

 

I think this is how it will go. First Take will have good guest but talk about the Lakers, Kobe or Tebow for the whole segment. Tmac should go on Highly Questionable they are the only program on ESPN that has truly insightful interviews.

 

he's going to make an announcement that he's taking his talent to South Beach.

Literally.

 

I predict that it will be a Kobe slurp fest, followed by Tmac saying that he can still play at a high level. Some suggestions that he has a lot of offers, but the money is better in China...etc.

However, I do think TMac could be a decent bench guy...15 minutes a game. He can be a great passer and facilitator. He can hit an open shot if he has to. I am a bit surprised that he hasn't received minimum offers for the last couple of years. It must be related to his character or inability to accept a bench role.

He was actually decent for the Pistons and Hawks a few years ago. What happened?
