He's going to announce that the Spurs preseason hopes of going undefeated are on him. And that's the extent of his segment.
He's taking his bum knees to the Miami Heat to team up with Greg Oden and compete in the rehab center recreational leagues. Good for him.
This is how it will go down - start with hello - then spend the entire segment talking about how him and kobe are are in love which each other calling each other so hard to guard.. its gonna be a crappy appearance by one of the modern eras greatest.
I think this is how it will go. First Take will have good guest but talk about the Lakers, Kobe or Tebow for the whole segment. Tmac should go on Highly Questionable they are the only program on ESPN that has truly insightful interviews.
I predict that it will be a Kobe slurp fest, followed by Tmac saying that he can still play at a high level. Some suggestions that he has a lot of offers, but the money is better in China...etc. However, I do think TMac could be a decent bench guy...15 minutes a game. He can be a great passer and facilitator. He can hit an open shot if he has to. I am a bit surprised that he hasn't received minimum offers for the last couple of years. It must be related to his character or inability to accept a bench role. He was actually decent for the Pistons and Hawks a few years ago. What happened?
"he can hit an open shot if he has to"? If he could he'd still be playing in the NBA (and sitting on the bench isn't playing) "what happened"? You seriously have to ask this?
After his stellar performance in the playoffs with the Spers, I fail to see why he hasn't gotten good offers from teams.
