What a cackmunch However, in fairness, Sam has revealed enough information on here to provide for his true identity, even including a photo a long while back.
There's a difference between making a conscious decision to reveal your own identity and threatening to reveal the identity of someone else without their permission.
Your real identity has taunted my real identity several times, and KingCheetah even goes around posting actual photos of me, even though I upgraded my a few months ago. Just get over it.
KingCheetah, Granville has already shared his misgivings about some of you exposing real identities (and photos.) I suffered silently for a long time, but I'm glad Granville spoke up, and I think you should remove that photo of bigtexxx. He's probably lost weight since then anyway.
I'm sorry Jeff reacted the way he did, but except for the parts of his OP I disagreed with (naturally!), his post was on the money and needed. Everyone should take this as a wakeup call to make an effort to be civil. If you can't be civil, maybe the post isn't worth making. And if someone pissed you off enough to report them, perhaps a better idea would be to put them on ignore. Food for thought. Also, anyone making fun of this effort by Jeff, despite his second post blowing D&D off (I've felt like it before, so I can understand the feeling), should cut it out. The guy is a moderator and a major reason the Rockets are still in Houston at the ToyBox. He deserves respect. As people in my old neighborhood in Southeast Houston used to say when trouble loomed, "Look alive... Pat Foley's coming!"* Don't blow off this effort on Jeff's part, but rather take it to heart. Keep D&D Civil!! * Pat Foley being the local undertaker.
Jeff's post will yield little results. If you need proof just go look at all the great friendly responses given to basso's new thread: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=198999 If Jeff wants the D&D forum to become more civil then he (or someone else) needs to start booting people. Nothing else will work.
you know, i thought of you this weekend, when "Devadip" was waxing poetic about being influenced by both B.B. Kind and Tito Puente, Ceasar Chavez and...well, frankly, i don't remember who, but it was all about peace, love, and understanding...and a little good weed. dude can still rock it, at 62.
Or you can look at basso's multiple posts accusing me of something I never did in the congresswoman shot thread. I wish it wasn't so. But sadly it is probably true that Jeff's post will yield little results.
His OP in the thread I linked seemed perfectly civil to me and was followed by quite a few uncivil responses.
