Looks like Magnolia West High School might go up in flames...hopefully not.

As someone that grew up in Magnolia, this fire sucks.

 

That's a brand new school, too. I have many friends in the area. I haven't heard from any of them so hopefully they're safe.

This weather sucks. I have never been depressed about weather before, but this feeling of hopelessness is awful.

 

Codell, you guys doing all right? You lived in that area if I remember correctly, no? I have a ton of family in that area. My mom's uncle owns has/had a restaurant in Plantersville, but I haven't heard any updates from her on him. A few of my family members have evacuated, and I heard there are rumors about the actual town area of Magnolia being at risk. That would be terrible. Could be some places I hold sacred from my childhood going up in flames soon.

 

Think my A/C is busted. I took a nap during the day and woke up drenched in sweat, it was so unbelievably hot.

 

My co-worker just sent me a picture of a huge fire in west oaks off i-10 towards Katy and he thinks it is by George Bush Park.
