Would we even has that many roster spaces to accommondate the 2nd rounders?

Plus we won't be trading down at all...only up if there is a suitable deal

    Houston Incoming
    Earl Watson
    4th Draft pick

    Seattle incoming
    Bobby Jackson (expiring contract)
    26th Draft Pick

I doubt Morey would pull the trigger if they asked for Brooks. Wilcox and Battier could be thrown in as well. We would have to draft a swing man that plays good defense. Anthony Randolph?

Why the hell Sonics wants to do this ?

    Earl Watson > Bobby Jackson
    4th pick >>> 25th pick

So theorically they're giving O.J Mayo and Earl Watson for a six million expring contract (which they're not desperately need) and a pick for B class rookie ?

couple of thoughts, apparently Rudy Fernandez is set to leave europe and join the Blazers, think we should target their first round picks

we have got to get younger and faster...

also love the way Vujacic plays, we should find a way to get him either through MLE or sign and trade, his agressiveness on boards ends would really help and his 3 pt range would be a great fit.... he could start at the 2 and maybe play some back up 1

How can we move up to the 13th pick? I don't see the Blazers giving it up for Battier, they don't need Scola because of Aldridge, and also have no need for Brooks either.Vujacic is a RFA.I don't see the Lakers giving him up.

Vujacic is an ok player, but we don't need another pg.

Relax, I know everyone's cranky in the off season. I should have explained it better for you.

If you clicked the second link, I threw Battier and Wilcox in the deal. I then said they would ask for Brooks as well.

Brooks, Battier, Jackson, and our 1st rounder is a bit much for Wilcox, Watson, and their 1st rounder. It leaves us with a gaping hole at SF/SG. A rookie is not gonna fix that.

Two words explain the first trade. Kwame Brown. Why can't the Rockets ever catch a break?

I just built on the first trade.

Guys this time of year we are always waiting to hear somthing regarding a trade. Well for what its worth a couple of friends of mine work for the Rockets and every week i hit them up for new info on what they're hearing. The latest rumblings that they are hearing is something in the works for Chauncey Billups for Carl Landry. Take it for what its worth but, its just a rumor but at least it came from the Rockets.

I'm never going to doubt a persons word or call them out even if i dont beleive it, but what i will say on any trade is, how does it make sense. Billups in any form for Landry makes no sense from detroits perspective.

Which would have to be part of a much larger trade, given the difference in what their salaries will be, and Landry will be a BYC player, and will have to WANT to go to Detroit. Etc etc. But it's always fun to hear something. Fills the time for us Rockets freaks.

I agree there has to be more involved but those were the only two he heard about but that Chauncey was someone they were really interested in. I would think for the Rockets they would have to give up more, but the idea of having Chauncey against the bigger guards in the west would be the right idea for the Rockets i hope they can pull it off. Detroit has Stuckey waiting in the wings maybe thats the motivation to change things up.

Do you guys reckon the Rockets are serious about Chauncey or is it the Pistons-fan-boys on this bbs that are yelling for the Rockets to get Chauncey because they like Chauncey?

I mean we'd have to give up quite a lot for Chauncey man. And hes like pretty old.

    Much rather prefer Andre Miller

Andre Miller is like the ONLY player over 30 on the Sixers...Sixers would much rather prefer a young guard instead of a 32 year old PG with the rest of the team 10 years younger than him. We just need to offer the right deal.

Billups = great 3 shooter, great free throw shooter, good defender, finals mvp.

    Billups > Andre Miller

he is not that good defender. that is why detroit wants to get rid of him, he is the worst defender in their starting lineup

you have to realise that finals MVP was 3 years ago. A lot can change for an aging player in 3 years in the NBA.

Billups isn't that good of a defender. But he isn't that bad either. What stats have you got to show for his defense? Steals per game?

But I think the price for Chauncey would be too high. Andre Miller sounds more realistic and affordable although I'd love for Chauncey to be on the Rockets.

Never imagined Chauncey Billups would be on the Rockets...

I would love to have Andre Miller on this team, he is a veteran and he would be great and finally REAL playmaker for Yao/T-Mac.

But what I am concerned about is his shooting, lack of 3pt range. I know he can score the ball, he has shown that, but he just can't shoot 3s.
