    Hey Captain Euro Hater.....

I am not rewriting anything, I was referencing the VIDEO that was posted.

Rubio has instincts that VERY VERY VERY few players have....he will not be good at the NBA level he will be GREAT at it.

He will never be close to Chris Paul... That should be the primary target before Wubio if we want a PG upgrade...

    Which we don't IMO...

good job not addressing sam's points or even my point about your comment about rubio being a "once in a lifetime" player lol.

once in a lifetime to me means you think he will be better than chris paul.

I think they are different types of players......but I could see your point.

I do think Rubio has instincts that are extremely rare.

Better than Chris Paul? Yeah, I think that.

I don't see why not, Rubio would just be a duplication to Jonny Flynn, who's been doing great. Right after they drafted 2 PGs with #5 and #6 picks, I thought one would be used as a bargaining chip for something.

Better than CP3 at what exactly? I am 100% sure he will not be able to score as well as CP3...he might be able to run an offense somewhere near the level of CP3 but nah, I don't see it. I think opposing defenses will rough him up to get him out of his element. Once he is out of his comfort zone, all those flashy passes will be worthless.

And there is no way in hell he will be able to D like CP3, which is 50% of basketball...

rough him up with a SG because he's 6'5 and could easily blow by D-Will and J-kidd. Just because he's skinny doesn't mean he's weak (Kevin Durant).

Don't forget he's just 18. He's still growing physiologically. If Yi Jianlian the 30 year old can become a Muscle Devil over just 1 summer, I don't see why Rubio won't.

Maybe it will be like Bird and Magic....where they are both once in a lifetime types of players, but they came along at the same time.

Look Rubio has a greater sense of what is happening on the floor and how to take advantage of it.

Some of the plays he makes are just amazing.....and very few players can make that play, or more importantly are even aware there is a play to be made.

Rubio has court sense which is up there with the all time greats.....he reminds me of a young Jason Kidd.

And CP3 is good, really good.....but I personally do not like him at all.....so it will skew any discussion about him with me....just to let you all know....I think he is a class A turd.

So you're saying that someone like Baron Davis or Chauncey Billups will have problems guarding him because he is 6'5? I mean I like the kid but I think you all are grossly overrating his skill set. How much do we actually know about him because the stat lines and youtube videos that are available? Does anyone have SkyTV or something similar that has been able to watch him play for a while now?

Definitely work him out. I'm pretty sure the Piston execs thought Darko's videos were amazing too.

Yup... He is a decent little off-ball defender in a less athletic, less talented league. I think he might struggle against NBA players...

That said, PG defense is overrated...

The main concern is his shooting... He shoots jumpers at about Rafer percentages...

I do think B-Diddy and Old man Chauncey would definitely have problems guarding him and not because of his size but his ability to handle the ball and get by them.

That doesn't mean anything. It's the style of play that matters and really differs in the gameplay...

True, it is much more physical, and the players are not as quick.....

Rubio is only 18, the guy has star written all over him.
