I don't think Brooks can play alongside Rubio. Who's going to guard the shooting guard? Rubio is a good defender on point guards but will get eaten alive by longer, stronger, more explosive shooting guards. If we acquire Rubio either Brooks will be shipped out or he will come off the bench.

    Yaodersen
Hayescolandry- Hayes back to defensive specialist role
    Battier/Ariza
    ???Starting shooting guard???, Budinger
    Rubiowry

    Top 5 team...

You think it's worth it.I would rather keep our asset(s).
Tracy is also an expiring contract. We can't get much cap space even after he is gone. I doubt if the Wolves can help us much.

Kahn wants a Garnett sized return on Rubio...

He wants a package along the lines of what he got from Boston in order to trade the rights to his "prized" asset.

    DD

I'm confused. You don't want us to give up some assets for CP3, but you are cool with it for Rubio? Is this because you think it takes less to acquire him (obviously)?

We know what CP3 can do...We have No idea what Rubio will be?...I dont understand your logic on this one DD...

Furthermore David Kahn is a douchebag for wanting an asset for taking on the contracts of a bunch of scrubs...Dude is one of the worst execs. in the league and he trying to take advantage of DM..I doubt that we will end up in a trade with the Wolves

My bad. I just know he thinks he will get the same kind of package that they got for Garnett.

Not saying it will happen, just saying what he is asking/wishing for

I cant see why we would want Rubio with Brooks/Lowry already here. Doesn't really make any sense. Love and Jefferson are nice pieces but at positions we are already stacked in. I highly doubt we make a trade straight up with Minnessota unless some third team is involved, even then I am having a hard time coming up with anything reasonable.

If he operates the same as DM< wouldn't it make sense that he's always trying for rip off deals?

Kahn saying he'll take Tmac's "bloated" contract if we give him an asset in return is exactly like DM telling Philly that he'll only take Iggy's "bloated" contract if they "bowl us over with young talent".

The garnett package was lopsidedly in the T-wolves' favor, it just didn't seem that way because Garnett is still an amazing player, the Celtics won the championship, and the Twolves still suck.

Twolves got Al jefferson (near franchise level young player), OJ Mayo, and a couple of expiring contracts for KG. Compared to the Shaq trade and especially the Pau Gasol trade (which was essentially a downgrade from Pau Gasol to Marc Gasol) that trade was amazing.

If the Celtics hadn't traded for the Big 3, I predict they would have the young talent to make Portland jealous. Imagine Jeff Green, Al Jefferson, and OJ Mayo playing there with Pierce, Rondo and Perkins instead of KG and Allen. Wow

I was speculating the reason behind the T-Wolves offer.
