Do you mean the final votes or the next update on them? The final votes are counted and the All-Star starters are named on January 23rd, I believe. The rest are chosen and named on January 30th.

As for the next update on the votes, I have no idea. I never paid attention to those before.

That probably would've been when the game was in SA.

I don't think that will be a problem this year. Steve started last year despite missing all those games and the Rockets terrible record.

Think about this also: Rockets fans will be voting in higher numbers this year due to the "Yao factor." I don't know any Rockets fans that wouldn't vote in Steve...

(just another example of Yao helping the Rockets)

The Chinese gov't blocks proxy servers as soon as they become popular so that access to discenting viewpoints posted on blocked websites can not be accessed.

I did not come up with this crap. David Stern came up with it on TV the other night.

Maybe Stein was telling the truth but pretended that it is a joke.

carlit0, i saw the show too. you obviously misunderstood.

think about it, what would the "cia filter" do? block all chinese votes? then why would they even put up a chinese ballot? And why would the cia even get involved in this in the first place? havn't they been wasting enough taxpayers' money already?

I can't believe some of you actually took it seriously.
